Okay, so listen. It's been a long time coming. Seriously...when did i buy this DVD like 9 months ago?! I've started it many many times, tried everything to keep going from workout buddies to blogging about it beforehand, like all these things were going to make it HAPPEN. Wrong. Every time I started I got to day 10, 15, maybe even 20 once. So about a month ago, I decided to just DO it. I had a 12k coming up in a few weeks (my first one, YAY!) and it was so cold and rainy that I couldn't bring myself to go outside and run. And well, with no gym close by and an upcoming Disneyland trip, a gym membership PLUS a far drive just doesn't seem logical when we're trying to save money! So I decided that something was better than nothing and I started Ripped in 30 AGAIN. (I also ate healthier and played just dance a couple times a week for extra cardio.) After 4 weeks of doing Ripped, I think my body is just ready for a break. I can do two levels straight through together and while it still hurts a little, my squats are deeper, my push ups are better, and my endurance is MUCH longer than when I started. I'm getting used to it.
So here are my 4 week stats after FINALLY finishing Ripped in 30.
I lost 3.5 pounds. If you think about it. 3.5 pounds in 4 weeks is actually pretty damn decent when I only had 10 more pounds to lose. AND it's almost a pound a week, which is great for where I am.
I lost an inch and a quarter off my waist, half an inch off my love handles, and half an inch off my hips and a quarter of an inch off each of my legs. My arms and back are more toned, and like I said earlier, everything about my endurance and strength is better.
And I'm sure you've been waiting for picture proof! :-)
These are, by no means, the final product and I'm not stopping working out just cause my body needs a break from ripped. I have a TON of motivation to keep going so I think I'm going to do Turbo Jam and 6 week 6 pack (thanks to Aubree for sending me the video! so excited!) for the next month until our Disney trip. I will update again right before we go to let you know if I'm ANY closer to my goal of 130 pounds!

Thats awesome. Hard work pays off. U r a good inspiration.
