California Adventure

So the third day, we had to get up early to get to our Character Breakfast. We chose to go to Ariel's Grotto. The place was SUPER cute and you got to meet Ariel right when walking in the door. They served us kind of buffet style on the tables and the food was OK! The princesses came around and took pictures with everyone. They were so sweet and stayed in character the whole time! (In case you're wondering why we chose princesses when we have two little boys, we had early entry into toon town on Friday! And ALL of us are little mermaid fans, boys included!)

How cute we're even the bathrooms?! I loved that in Disneyland all the bathrooms even stuck with the theme of wherever they were!

After breakfast we went to Carsland!! Oh my gosh. You cannot imagine how excited Nolan was! He REALLY wanted to go on the ride (and frankly, so did the rest of us! LOL!) so we decided to wait in line. For FOUR hours. Luckily it was a nice line. They SHOULD think about installing water fountains and maybe having more shade! Also looking back and knowing what we found out on Thursday, we would have waited for cars until cause apparently the season passers had a block out! That started either Thursday or Friday but next time we are definitely looking ahead of time!

So that the kids didn't get restless, Cassie and I took them over to Bug's Land to ride some kiddie rides. And on the way over to ride, we saw Phineus and Ferb!

The Little Mermaid was my absolute favorite! We went on it at least 3 times!! So adorable!!

Erin and I waited in line for a while (i can't remember what everyone else was doing at the time) for Mater's Junk Yard Jamboree! This ride was a blast!

We did some other stuff but then We finished off the day with Grizzly River run. Nolan was NOT fan. I thought maybe it's just cause it was dark. So, as a consolation, I let them pick a souvenir. Nolan got a stuffed Pluto, and Brooke got a stuffed baby Minnie, wrapped in a cute blanket. And Silas picked some hilarious light up glasses!

  1. Fun! I'm so jealous! I didn't know there was a Cars Land. My son would just die!

  2. Did you guys ride the Luigi tires? I will have to wait till Fall to ride any of those rides. Hopefully by then it will be less busy. I am glad you guys had lots of fun!

    1. No we didn't. That one was like a 3 hour wait. the Junk Yard Jamboree was only like 45 minute wait...maybe a little more!
